I think the screen looks a bit better on the S23. Testing the latter, the iPhone 14 Pro climbed to 21% in 15 minutes and 42% in 30 minutes. This is slightly slower than the iPhone 13 Pro, which skyrocketed to 25% in 15 minutes and 53% in 30 iOS 17.0.3 unleashed the 15 Pro Max we deserved. Mannnnn iOS 17 was a rough start but having had 17.0.3 for a couple of days, seems to have completely awoken the 15 Pro Max’s super power, aka battery life. Not to mention this thing stays ice cold (though mine never got as hot as others were claiming) and zero drop of in performance.

Long time android user and I have an iPhone 14 pro max preordered and scheduled to arrive next week. Reading this subreddit has made me start to question whether or not this was a smart choice. Sorting by new and reading all these posts about camera issues, screen issues, poor battery life, freezing ,etc is getting kind of worrying.

The size and weight does not take long to adjust to at all. This is my humble opinion, the pro max is great phone so is the 13. I have the 13 pro max and charge my phone every night. Maybe I have a bad phone but my phone will not last two days with regular use. I’ve done minimal use and barley got a day and a half.
Tom's Guide's battery life test also gave the edge to the iPhone 15. The 15 Pro has marginally worse battery life than the regular 15, so it will likely still be equivalent with the S23 in battery life. Your 15 Pro was new and still indexing and comparing it to an optimized device that has been out for over half a year is, frankly, not very fair.
