As soon as you load a save without cheats on the achievements will work again. That means that you can enable cheats, cheat(for example give yourself all the weapons), disable cheats, save, load the save and then the achievements should still work. I’m not 100% sure if they fixed it, but thats what I heard. (should work the same in hl2)
